The developments in technology are going fast. Consider, for example, robotization and automation, solar energy or new ways of sustainable production. The support of an engineering technician who leads, plans, prepares and directs work processes, supervises projects, monitors the processes and makes drawings, reads or designs or develops installations or builds, maintains and overhauls machines is indispensable.
Responsible for the finances of a project and maintenance with contacts and clients, customers and other companies.
As an electrical engineering technician:

working in different positions: as project leader, supervisor, foreman or technician:

as project manager engaged in the preparation and supervision of the execution of electro technical work; contacts with customers and with designing, drawing, calculating and guiding;

as supervisor leading and co-implementing the technology and maintenance department;

as executor, arranging the implementation of projects and monitoring the budget;

as a technician, be a specialist who solves technical problems in practice or makes an important contribution to them.
Activities
At production, installation and service companies. Engineering technicians work on electro technical machines, equipment and installations, consumer electronics, office machines and electro technical consumer goods, at small companies but also at large companies. The basis is electrical engineering, but work also interfaces with other disciplines, such as installation technology, mechanical engineering and mechatronics.
